It is our great pleasure to invite you to the "Postcolonial Infrastructure" conference (17-20 May 2023), which is part of the ZKF's current core topic "Rethinking Infrastructure."

The conference is the annual meeting of the Gesellschaft für Anglophone Postkoloniale Studien / Association for Anglophone Postcolonial Studies (GAPS). It begins with the Iser Lecture by Homi Bhabha and features two additional keynotes by Elleke Boehmer and Manu Karuka, more than 60 papers including talks by Ankhi Mukherjee, Caroline Levine, Dominic Davies, Michael Rubenstein, and Jennifer Wenzel, a reading by Australian author Tara June Winch and a lecture-performance by the South-African theatre company Magnet Theatre.

The program is available from the conference website (www.gaps2023.org). All academic events and readings are free and open to the public. Members of the university are not required to register. Feel free to contact us if you plan to attend so we can prepare a name tag. We would be delighted to welcome you to the conference.
