Prof. Dr. Stefan Volkwein
Since April 2009 I am a professor for Numerical Optimization at the University of Konstanz. My research interests are nonlinear optimization of partial differential equations, especially by applying reduced-oder modeling and optimal control strategies. I did my Ph.D in October 1997 at the TU Berlin and achieved the habilitation in June 2001 at the University of Graz. From 2008 to 2009 I worked as a key researcher at the Competence Center Virtual Vehicle in Graz.
