Simon Buchwald
Since July 2020 I am a Ph.D. student of Prof. Dr. Gabriele Ciaramella (Polytechnic University of Milan) and Prof. Dr. Stefan Volkwein. In my Ph.D, I work on numerical optimization methods for the identification and control of fluctuating systems. This project is supported by the German Reserach Foundation DFG, SFB 1432, project title "Fluctuations and Nonlinearities in Classical and Quantum Matter beyond Equilibrium".
Research Topics:
- Deep learning
- Inverse problems
- Parameter identification
Programming languages and Software used:
- Matlab
- Python
- Latex
