Workshop series for remote computing and GPU programming

The Collective Computing Unit (CCU) and the Data Science Consultancy (DSC) are excited to announce a new series of online workshops starting this October. These sessions are designed to equip all members of our community with essential skills in remote computing and GPU programming. Our goal is to provide you with the necessary knowledge to fully utilize the infrastructure available at the CASCB.

1. Workshop: Docker and introduction to Pytorch and GPU computing

Following topics will be covered:

  • Docker: Containerization concepts and hands-on Docker usage.
  • PyTorch basics: Introduction to PyTorch for deep learning applications.
  • GPU computing fundamentals: Leveraging GPU acceleration for computational tasks.
